Project Title: One Step Beyond Silicon
Aim: To investigate the prospect of having silicon-chipped computers replaced by quantum computers.
Focus of Studies:
- Introduction to current silicon chip technologies and its limitations.
- Introduction to what quantum computers are all about.
- Comparison between the two forms of computers.
- Discussion on the advantages and disadvantages of having the conventional technologies replaced by the new quantum technology.
- Investigate, through surveys, the popularity and public awareness of the imminent change in the computing world.
